Priyanka Chopra digs versatility

Winner of this year’s National Award for Best Actress, Priyanka Chopra is humbled by the honour but yet candid enough to assert that she doesn’t pick roles with the objective of winning awards through them. What she rather digs is versatility.

“It has always been a conscious effort throughout my career to be versatile. I am fortunate enough to be enjoying films like Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor on one hand and Vishalji’s (Bhardwaj) next on another,” she is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Speaking of versatility, Priyanka sort of created a record last year by playing a dozen different roles in director Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Raashee?. Now, she’s set to adopt seven different makeovers for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf, in which she plays the wife of seven husbands.
